Counseling adults, older adults, children, families and couples: For more than 10 years, Patricia Hesketh has worked with adults, children and families on a variety of mental health issues. She offers a caring, comfortable, confidential environment to talk about a problem or an issue. Especially skilled in working with children and their families, Patricia understands the challenges facing children and adolescents in today's world. She knows how problems, such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), a complex neurobehavioral syndrome characterized by problems with attention, impulsivity, hyperactivity and distractibility, can impact a child's or adolescent's self-confidence and create other issues. Couple therapy is another service Patricia offers.
She knows that a committed, long-term relationship often has its own set of issues. Patricia will work with the couple to determine how best to resolve a problem or issue. Patricia understands the special challenges older adults face. She has years of experience counseling seniors on issues, including difficulty coping with change, trouble adjusting to
ill health, loneliness and isolation, and problems with grief and loss.
